PROPERTY MANAGEMENT FIRM RECEIVES FINE FROM MDE                                                                  

This is the headline as it read in the Hagerstown Morning Herald Newspaper on Friday August 16, 2002. While working with a local property management company they were presented with a fine for violation of the lead laws by the Attorney General of the State of Maryland. Upon receipt of the documentation from MDE and the Attorney General I had began negotiation in an effort to reduce the fine. The fine issued to the management company  was set at the amount of $45,000.00. Over the next six months it was negotiated and settled for $3,500.00. This suit was settled without an attorney and settled for a savings of $41,500.00 and without going to court!
